singaporre Flyer

I had never been on the Singapore flyer but I did get to go on it because my family had come for diwali. I had no idea it would be such a blast. I really had fun. It took us a long time to enter it and exit it because it was very slow. We had to get on and off the Singapore flyer on a big slope. The next day it was diwali morning and my family and I lit the candles and did some fire crackers. Then we ate a nice Indian breakfast with some Indian dessert. Can you believe we ate dessert at breakfast? At the party I wore a pretty Indian dress, it was called a pavade. I had lots of fun at the party, it ended at 1:30 in the morning! By then I was really tired and could just fall asleep on a chair but unfortunately I didn’t. I had a great time but I shall go to sleep now. Sparkle sparkle sparkle

Neil Gaiman vs Miel

I went and saw Neil Gaiman he was soooo cool I had to wait in line for 2 hours, now you cam imagine how many people were there. Nayantara and me went to it it was fun. He was really fun because he had imagination and kept bees. Neil Gaiman : aw so cute we get free honey. Miel: yuck that is just gorse. Have a busing week. Pancakes with HONEY.

Fun or not

My mom keeps making me do a blog and sometimes, I have to do things to find out what I want to do. So I think I should choose what I really want.I love blogging but sometimes I want to things that are fun.

In school we are doing a marathon and in that marathon, I have run 20 miles and I still have 9 miles left. That is fantastic for me because I never run except in P.E that is sports in school. I have been running from Sept 1 and this is going to end n Oct 2. All the girls in my class are not doing it but I want to. Total miles I would have ran 30 miles. I am very proud of me because I have never in my life run 30 miles. I run everyday1 mile and that is too much. An average girl will not run but will swim. I think I am dong a good job at running at my age. Now will you excuse I have to run a mile. Huff and a Puff!

Amitabh Bachan

Last Friday I went to the Marriot and saw Amitabh Bachan. He is the most famous film star in India. He was in Singapore and my uncle knew a person who was working for Amitabh Bachan and I got to see him. I watched a lot of his movies. Some of them are, Bunty aur Babli, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna and Jhoom Barabar Jhoom.

He was tall and was wearing a black suit and inside the suit was a red t-shirt. He looked cool. He looked confused because he didn’t know us and that we had come, he patted me on the head and said “I like this one.” I smiled and looked blank. I was so blind minded that I was going to meet famous actor. I couldn’t say Yay!

I took a photo with him and then an autograph and then said bye and went home. That was very funny and fun. I wish one day I will be famous too.

Tennis

Today I went to play tennis and I rallied for the first time! My highest score is 6. It was raining in the morning, the floor was wet, then in the middle of the game it started to drizzle.I still played.Have you played tennis before, is it fun or what.?If I could I would play everyday, but I can't because of school, and I have no time after homework.Plus I need someone to play with! I think I should train JOJO to play tennis!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA!

Happy

My day at school was very fun,funny.I have lot's and lot's of friends that are in my class but I don't have Ana or Karena. That doesn't mater because I have to make new friends.Tomorrow I am not going to school because we are going to the water park but I have an ear infection and I can't swim.I am very happy that I don't have to go to school, and in that happy moment I also felling sad.I have started tennis so tomorrow I have my tennis class this is my 4-6 class. Tomorrow night I have a sleep over an my classmates house.That will be fun!

Fifth grade aaargh

I am very scared that school is starting because fifth grade is supposed to be the hardest year in IS . I don't know who my teacher is for this year. What was your experience in fifth grade .....?
I wish that the world would stop and we can stay little and would not go up more grades. What would you wish for....?

I miss JOJO

I miss JOJO . JOJO is my dog. He is a funny, naughty dog. He is a very energetic dog. I am happy that I have a dog specially because his name is JOJO and no one can call him JO except for me. My daddy said that he is behaving but I don't think that JOJO is really going to behave because when I go back to Singapore he will be naughty again. See you soon, JOJO. He is my brother, most brothers and sisters fight but JOJO and I don't fight.

The movie

Today we went to the movies and Akshay laughed so much I laughed too. The movie was called Short Kut it was funny and fun. We left in the interval because they wanted to leave. I would have loved to stay and watch the movie. I wonder what will happen next... I want to get it on D.V.D because I want to watch it. My mother bought the movie for me and I am so happy.

All weekend we will watch movies and have fun. It's my cousin's birthday soon and we are going to do so many things. I can't wait!

At the beach

I went to the beach yesterday with Nirica's friends and our family. We played soccer, frisbee and Rhea, Nirica's friend had a small red ball that had sand and mud all over it.I played with all of the toys. After we played in the sand we went in to the water I splashed Rhea in the face. I was so happy that I could play in the water.I got so wet that we had to play some more so we could dry off.When we dried off we all went to eat donuts and I ate a wrap as well. Then we said good bye and said that we would see them tomorow night because tomorow night there is a quiz at a club. I am happy that I had fun yesterday.

American Idol

If I had a dream I would dream about winning American Idol. I also wish that I would be a judge on american idol. I would want to be evil like Simon, he is so mean and he is very rude. Paula copies Randy like when Randy said "YO YO that was cool " Paula said "YO YO that was cool and wicked". Randy is cool. I call him YO YO Randy. I call him that because he says YO, YO, in all his sentences . I would want to be Randy if I ever needed to be a judge cause he ROCKS!

OWLS

Do you know how many owls I have? I have more than 100 owls. Nayantara has 200 owls. One day I will count them. I will count them one by one and will not sleep that night, because I will be counting. If I were to make an invention I would make a counting machine that counts what ever you want it to count. I would look for images and fill the world with them because they are pretty. I still collect owls and I will always collect them.

Akshay

On July 5 my cousin Akshay came from San Francisco. My mama didn't sleep that night because the plane came at 2:30 am but they went at 1 am. When they came home from the airport, mama woke me up to say hi. I stayed up for a short time because I was very sleepy. They slept at 3:30 in the morning and woke up at 6 am. Akshay had to go back to the airport because he had to go to Poona. He is going to come back in a week. I miss him very much, I am very happy that I get to see him. I wish that I could see him every month because he plays the clarinet and because he is nice and funny . Akshay is going back to San Francisco on AUGUST 8. Maybe I will go to San Francisco to see him.

Fort Aguada

Do you like waves and water? If you do, hi five 'cause I love waves and water too! I went to Goa in the monsoon and you should have seen the waves, they were as high as one part of the fort wall. The pool overlooked the sea and the beach. I sat in the pool one day and saw the sunset then I went to the beach and my mom ,dad and me walked quietly on the beach. I built a sculpture of a face. It was cool and after I made the face and the swished it away.
The next day our friends took us for a drive. I saw a black and white building with an circular shape. I asked what it was.. it was a light house. There were two, close together. and really old. That day Harsha took us to a Goan restaurant by the sea. the Goan restaurant served all kinds of fish. I had one kind which was yummy. it was a fun and giggly evening.
It was such a great holiday. I want to go back again.

NUS

Have you gone to the university in Singapore? Well I haven't , but my cousin Nayantara is going to the university there. The university is called NUS. Since I live in Singapore , now I will have a cousin in Singapore.YAY! But I am sad that my other cousin can't come. I hoping to see Nirica every holiday.

Trippin

Why does the electricity trip? The electricity trips because you have touched something that is not supposed to be touched. Or you don't have a generator and the electricity trips. To stop the electricity from ripping, you put off lights when you are not using them. For example last night I was sound asleep and the AC went off/ tripped. I could not go to sleep until the AC came on. The electricity is back on but now I am sitting in the swing with the nice breeze blowing on me.

Do you know what a wii is?

Well I know what a wii is. A wii is a game that is on the TV. This game is an exercise game. You get to play Tennis, Bowling, Baseball, boxing and Golf. In Bowling I can get 5-6 strikes. In Baseball I do win with 10 home runs. In golf I do lose. I don't get any putts. In Boxing I sometimes win and sometimes lose.

My first blog entry

Today I celebrated paati's birthday with my cousins and family. We came to paati's at 9.00 am with her presents. When we got there, she opened her presents. Then we ate breakfast. The breakfast was fantastic. We ate idlis and vadas. After that people went home. We chilled until it was time for lunch. We went to a restaurant called Bayleaf. Bayleaf is a Bengali restaurant. It is small and cosy. We ate fish, dal, aloo and rice.

After that we all went to paati's to cut her birthday cake that was made of chocolate.

Paati had a small tea party. The guests stayed till 7.50 pm.

After the tea party finished we all went to my aunt's house and chilled.
